The original pen and ink drawing below entitled "Emergence From Obscurity" is one I did a few years ago as part of a large series of drawings. The collection of artworks all were done with similar themes and a distinct style - a style I like to call contour flow drawings. The term "contour" is used because all the drawings followed a particular pattern resembling contour lines on a map to mold the forms. The actual forms are often flowing, abstract and surrealistic.
